Your health information, understood, and ready for your doctor.

Your watch knows how you slept. Your labs sit in a portal. Your medicines are on a shelf, and your history is spread across a dozen offices. Bimini brings it together, explains it in plain language, and helps you prepare for the conversation with your own physician.

Bimini advises. The physician treats.

Patent-pending privacy: your documents are read on your own iPhone or iPad.

An invited beta for iPhone and iPad (iOS 26 or later), through Apple's TestFlight app. Adults 18 and older.

Everything in one place

Bimini reads what you already have. No new device, and no data entry you have to keep up.

  • Apple Watch and Apple Health
  • Ōura Ring
  • Smart scales and bed sensors
  • CPAP
  • Lab results
  • Health records your providers share with Apple Health
  • Reports and PDFs
  • Pharmacy labels
  • Medications and supplements
  • AirPods Pro hearing tests
  • Immunizations
  • Your genome, if you choose

What you can do with it

Understand your numbers

See a week's trend rather than one night, a lab result against your own history, and which findings are worth raising soon and which can wait for your next visit.

Ask Ponce

Ask about a lab value, a change in your sleep, or what to raise at your next appointment. Ponce answers from your own data and the evidence, in plain language, or in simpler language if you prefer.

Saw a supplement or gadget in an ad? Ask Ponce. It checks the label, FDA records and the published research, and weighs them against your own health.

Keep your medicines straight

  • Photograph a pharmacy label and Bimini fills in the medicine, the directions and the refill details for you to check.
  • Bring in the medicines you already list in Apple's Health app.
  • Turn on refill reminders. The lock screen never names the medicine.

Bring it to your doctor

A physician report built for a short appointment: your history, your medications, what has changed, and your questions.

Why Bimini is different

A physician's judgement, built in

Designed by a physician. Bimini reads your numbers the way a doctor would, and keeps clinical decisions where they belong: with your own physician.

Private by design, patent pending

Your account is a number: Bimini does not ask for your name, email address or date of birth to create one. Documents and labels are read on your iPhone or iPad (photos of a label never leave it), and Bimini removes direct identifiers where feasible before sending relevant health context to the AI system. The information may remain re-identifiable, so it is treated as sensitive health information throughout. We do not sell your data.

Ponce uses Anthropic's Claude models through Amazon Bedrock, on Amazon Web Services, not a consumer Claude account.

Independent answers

Ponce speaks from the evidence and is never told about any business relationship.

Getting started

  1. Install Bimini from your TestFlight invitation and create your account. No name or email needed.
  2. Connect Apple Health. Your watch, ring, bed sensor and scale, and the health records your providers share with the Health app, arrive in one place.
  3. Add what isn't there yet. Share a report or PDF to Bimini, or photograph a pharmacy label.
  4. Ask Ponce, then take it to your doctor with your physician report.

Meet Ponce

Ponce is Bimini's guide. It explains, it helps you prepare, and it tells you when something is worth raising with your doctor.

Ponce is not a doctor, and Bimini does not diagnose or treat. Clinical decisions belong to your own physician.

From the founder

Why a physician built this

I am Chip Thompson. I am a physician. The bulk of my career was the practice of Anesthesiology and Interventional Spine. I no longer practice clinical medicine but review hospital and office charts, involving internal medicine and surgery. Over the last 8 years, I have reviewed approximately 35,000 cases.

I, like many others, am not satisfied with the way knowledgeable and motivated people navigate the medical system as it exists today. I want to be an instrument for fundamental change in how medical care is delivered.

How I got here is a long story. If you are interested, please visit my Substack at substack.com/@chipthompsonmd.
